Driven by the dual impetus of stock competition and technologicaliteration in the global consumer electronics industry, the smartphone industrypresents typical characteristics of product high-endization, demandpersonalization, and supply chain globalization. As the core carrier of productcompetitiveness, the procurement and supply management level of core componentsdirectly determines an enterprise's cost control, market response speed, andindustrial chain resilience. Currently, the industry generally faces commonproblems such as high dependence on imported high-end components, insufficientsupplier collaboration, high logistics costs, and lagging informationcollaboration, which severely restrict the high-quality development of theindustry.
Taking the smartphone industry as the research object and combining theempirical case of HX Company, this paper constructs a research framework of"industry analysis-theoretical support-empirical verification-strategyoptimization". Firstly, it systematically sorts out the development statusof the global and Chinese smartphone industry and the pattern of the corecomponent supply chain; secondly, it builds a theoretical framework forindustry procurement and supply management based on four major theories: supplychain collaboration, procurement strategy, supplier relationship management, and logistics optimization; further, through industry research and caseanalysis of HX Company, it analyzes the common industry problems and theircauses; finally, it proposes a six-in-one optimization strategy system of"procurement strategy-supplier collaboration-logistics network-informationsystem-risk prevention and control-green sustainability".
This paper comprehensively adopts literature research method, industryresearch method, case analysis method, and comparative analysis method, combined with authoritative industry data from 2021 to 2024 and practices ofinternational leading enterprises, to form research results with bothuniversality and operability. The research shows that the core causes ofindustry problems lie in technological monopoly, strategic deviation, insufficient organizational collaboration, digital lag, and interest coordinationobstacles. The implementation of optimization strategies requires the industry, enterprises, and policies to break interest barriers and strengthencollaborative linkage. The results of this paper can provide practical guidancefor smartphone enterprises to improve their procurement and supply managementlevels, and provide theoretical and practical support for enhancing theresilience and sustainability of the industrial chain and supply chain.
